Pawan Kalyan’s new film' Kushiga' remake of 'Love Aaj Kal'

Pawan Kalyan’s new film Kushiga remake of Love Aaj Kal shooting is going to start from September 23rd in Ramoji Film City. Despite of Komaram Puli collections and verdict, Power Star Pawan Kalyan is now focusing on Khushiga. Trisha and Kriti Kharbanda are playing the female leads with power star for the first time.

Mani Sharma is composing music for Khushiga, while Trivikram is penning the dialogues. Khushiga will be directed by Jayanth C Paranji and produced by Ganesh Babu under Parameswara Arts. Bade Ravi is presenting the movie

Vamsi's Fashion designer ( Ladies Tailor - sequel)

irector Vamsi is well known in the Telugu film industry for his exceptional films that has won the hearts of the audiences. Vamsi has just finished working on his project 'Saradaga Kasepu' and now he is planning to make a sequel of one of his highly popular films.

Previously, Vamsi has created super hit movies like 'Sitara', 'Nireekshana', 'Ladies Tailor', 'Avunu Vaalu Iddaru Ishta Paddaru' and many more. Now Vamsi is planning to make a sequel of the all time super hit movie 'Ladies Tailor'. The first film had the well known actor Rajendra Prasad in the title role.

In an interview, Vamsi revealed that the sequel will be named 'Fashion Designer-Son of Ladies Tailor'. The cast of the movie has not been decided yet and the director is mulling over all the viable options but it seems that Rajendra Prasad will be a part of the sequel as well.

Speaking about the plot of the movie, the director said that the film will be an out-and-out comedy with a sprinkling of a thriller added to it. When asked about the leading character of the movie, Vamsi said that he is trying to rope in a major superstar of present times. We hope the sequel to 'Ladies Tailor' manages to tickle the funny bone of the audiences just like the earlier movie.

It was also said that the film has been titled as ‘Ragada’ but it has to be announced officially. Now the latest news is that bubbly and charming beauty Charmi is going to shake legs with Nag in this film for an intro song. As it was said earlier that the film is set under Rayalaseema backdrop the intro song with Charmi seems to be folk song. Famous choreographer Raju Sundaram is going to compose steps for the song. Thaman has composed the music for the film. Charmi had already paired with Nagarjuna in ‘Mass’ and also shaked her legs for a song ‘King’. So it will be for the third time we can see Charmi pairing with Nag.

No songs in Nag’s ‘Gaganam’!

Nagarjuna who is busy in wrapping up the shooting of his forthcoming bilingual film titled ‘Payanam’ in Tamil and ‘Gaganam’ in Telugu has reached its final leg of shooting. The final schedule is being shot currently in Chennai. It has finished its entire talkie portion and will also complete the shooting of whole film by the end of this week and then will move into post production works.

Earlier it was said that Nagarjuna is playing a distinct role that has never been played by him ever before. Nag, who is considered as romantic hero, doesn’t even have a heroine beside him in the film. He will be playing the role of a commando in the film and so Nag has undergone a crash course in training to portray this character. Prakash Raj and Brahmanandam will be playing other important roles. This bilingual film is being produced by Prakash Raj in Tamil version and Dil Raju in Telugu version.

Adding more surprise to the above one, it is heard that there will be no songs in this film and decision of having at least background score in the film will be finalized only after completing the dubbing and other sound effects. It is also heard that Nagarjuna himself is dubbing for Tamil version also.

Ram Gopal Varma is once again in the thick of the action for Rakta Charitra when he received phone calls from unidentified group yesterday. They threatened Ram Gopal Varma that they would kill him on the grounds of Obul Reddy’s role in Rakta Charitra.
These persons, it seems, belong to Obul Reddy and warned that they will not spare a thought for Ram Gopal Varma, if Obul Reddy is shown as anti-social element.
Ram Gopal Varma said, “People are assuming things without seeing Rakta Charitra movie and I warn all those who are assuming things. I don’t care even Obul Reddy spirit comes and threaten me. This is my counter”.

Rajasekhar under Shekhar Suri’s direction!

Well known director Shekhar Suri who made a suspense thrillers like ‘A Film by Aravind’ and ‘Three’ earlier, is gearing up to direct famous hero Rajasekhar for a new film which is yet to be titled.

According to reliable sources, the film is said to be a bilingual film which is to be made both in Telugu and Tamil. It is going to be produced by Natti Kumar under the banner of Visakha Talkies. Vijay Kurrakala will be composing the music while Ramesh Krishna takes charge of cinematography.

Producer said, “It is going to be an action-oriented flick which will be made in both Telugu and Tamil. We will picturise the film in Bangkok for 20 days. We will soon announce the cast and technicians.”

What is happening with 'Orange'?

Producer Naga Babu is maintaining everything confidential about his big budgeted flick ‘orange’ with Ramcharan and Genelia. As this is the movie is follow up after the super success of ‘Magadheera’ for Cherry, Naga Babu and director Bommarillu Bhaskar are not leaving any stone unturned to make it a BO hit.

As per our sources, dubbing for ‘orange’ will start from tomorrow. On the other side, shooting will be carried simultaneously with a big schedule planned overseas for songs picturization from August 24 to September 16. 3 Idiots remake budgets to touch 90 crore?

There are people in the South Indian film circuit who say that if money has to be spent for a film, no other director is as good as Shankar. Such is the popularity of Shankar that producers have spent around Rs. 60 crore for Sivaji’ and about Rs. 190 crore for ‘Robo’. Both of these films being Rajnikanth’s films, the returns take care of themselves. However we hear that Shankar is going to spend some huge money again. This time there won’t be Rajnikanth. Presently Shanker is planning the remake of ‘3 – Idiots’ in both Tamil and Telugu. It is expectedt that the producers are expecting the film budget would touch around 90-92 crore.

The rights of the Hindi Original for Telugu and Tamil seemed to have cost a bomb to producers of the film Gemini Films. However, with stars like Mahesh Babu in Telugu and Vijay in Tamil, it is expected that Shankar knows what he is up to.

Cute actress Samantha, who become a busy heroine after the success of her debut film "ye Maya Chesave" in Tollywood. Now she is busy in Tollywood with many offers in hand.

Krishna Vamsi Was Rejected 3 Times By Akkinenis.

The tag of a director might look quite rosy but the thorny path that they have to go through cannot be described in words. This applies even for the premium league directors as well. For instance, let us take the case of the creative genius Krishna Vamsi and his upcoming venture.

It is known news that he is likely to direct a film that will have three generations of the Akkineni family. It is heard that the story was told two years back to the Akkineni trio but then they have asked to repair the script. So far, Krishna Vamsi has reportedly worked on it three times.

And now, he is back to working on it for the 4th time and is hoping that this should settle the matter. If the project goes through then it will be a historic moment since seeing the legend ANR with son Nagarjuna and grandson Naga Chaitanya would be something. ‘Mahesh Khaleja’ Settlement @ Rs 60 Lakhs?

Just recently, it was mentioned that the ‘Khaleja’ controversy was settled for Rs 10 lakhs but there seems to be more than that meets the eye. Apparently, the producer Subba Reddy, who owns the Nitya Sree Productions banner arranged for a press meet and let out his steam.
He quoted “What sort of an adjustment is this? Tomorrow, shall I rename the title of ‘Orange’ as ‘Uday Kiran Orange’? Will that work? I have already fixed the title and project with a big hero and even the story is also narrated to him”.
However, reliable sources say that there is another story to it. As per them, the real story is that Subba Reddy demanded Rs 70 lakhs for settlement but the makers of ‘Khaleja’ gave him Rs 10 lakhs and asked him to keep quiet. However, he has again demanded money and that’s why the press meet. Whether it will be an out of court settlement, fight or whether the film chamber will help, remains to be seen.

Is Mahesh Babu playing Police Officer in Dookudu? Well, that’s the news thus far! It seems that Mahesh Babu is playing full length Police Officer role in his next film ‘Dookudu’. Mahesh Babu’s Dookudu is directed by Srinu Vytla and produced by 14 Reels Entertainment.

It seems that Seenu Vytla has come up with a good script that suits Mahesh Babu. And Prakash Raj is playing an important role and he replaces Sri Hari, who was the earlier choice.

Samantha is playing the female lead and the shooting for this ‘Dookudu’ movie would start from September 3 and regular shooting could take place from September 12 – after Kaleja shooting is completed. Thaman of ‘Kick’ fame is composing music for ‘Dookudu’.

determined animation project ‘Eega’. Already Walt Disney has entered the Telugu films with Siddharth and Shruthi Haasan starrer a socio fantasy flick which is being directed by Prakash Rao.Sources say that at present, the script for the film is being made and likely to take some time to go on sets.
But sure, Rajamouli is aiming Disney to make the project his film into a big bash so that looking to take Telugu cinema to next level. On the other hand, he is going to start a new film with Prabhas.

Thaman to work with Mahesh Babu.

Music director Thaman Sai of ‘Kick’ fame has got the first big chance to work with star hero mahesh babu for his upcoming project of Srinu Vytla which is to go sets from September 3. This movie is known to have tentatively titled as ‘Dookudu’ where in Mahesh plays the role of cop once again with full dose of Srinu Vytla comedy to take the top chair.
Dialogues for this movie are penned by hilarious Kona Venkat while story is by Gopi Mohan. Achanta Gopichand is to produce the movie on 14 Reels Entertainment. So, it can be taken as default that Mahesh will complete all the remaining work for ‘Khaleja’ before this movie goes live.

Is Prabhas ‘Mr. Perfect’? Well, ever since filmmakers heard this song Mr. Perfect in ‘Arya 2’, this word for the movie title has been in great demand.
First in the race was Telugu movie director Surender Reddy. When he told about Mr. Perfect script to Mahesh Babu, he liked it and both Surender Reddy and Mahesh Babu decided to produce Mr. Perfect movie with RR Movie Makers. But things changed quickly and Mahesh Babu is not doing Mr. Perfect movie. Meher Ramesh and Mahesh Babu are working for RR Movie Makers.

Surender Reddy decided to do Mr. Perfect movie with NTR. And this movie would be produced by Nallamalapu Srinivas (Buji).

On the flip side, Prabhas is doing a movie under Dasharath, produced by Dil Raju. And the makers are planning to have Mr. Perfect title for this Prabhas Dil Raju movie. Further, it seems that Surender Reddy has agreed to forgo the title Mr. Perfect for Prabhas.
